It's a very weak case marley for california -- particularly for california which was never a slave state, paul. the residents there are being asked, they're being told that people who were never slave holders should have to pay reparations the people who were never slave. it's even worse than that a because most of the white americans trace their ancestry to people who came here after the civil war. so you're asking people who were not even descendants of slave holders to pay reparations to people who were never slaves. so i think it's absolutely absurd. you know, the race scholar, shelby stee...
