So when Solange Knowles, a singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist, asked McDonald to collaborate on glassware after someone from her team spotted him on TV, he didn’t even have to think about it.
Jason McDonald became a glassblower knowing that throughout history, there’s little to no record of Black glassblowers. He’d like to change that.
The multihyphenate creative teamed up with noted glassblower artist Jason McDonald to curate the collection under Saint Heron’s commerce project, Small Matter.
