Neighbor noticed that a bush in his front yard fire caught fire and turned into a has matt gas leak. And that is when he called the fire department. We came onscene, we tried to extinguish it with our fire hoses and realized its wasnt going out like it normally should and realized it was some kind of gas leak. Reporter gas to shutoff. Southwest gas is waiting for that to dissipate. They are still metering homes in the area. There is a list of about 12 homeowners who will be getting a call tonight when its safe to return home.
