The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is doing spring cleaning in the Monsoon. The civic body is making preparations to hold a one-day intensive cleaning exercise in the City. This is to clear debris, garbage and waste materials that have been lying on the public roads for a long time. Such a large-scale initiative is being chalked out following criticism that the officials are not paying heed to complaints on legacy waste (debris, garbage that’s not been cleared for a long time ) stating that it comes under another division of the BBMP or another ward.
