A GARDEN centre has delivered leftover produce to a Llandudno food bank that has faced unprecedented demand. Snowdonia Nurseries & Garden Centre in Glan Conwy said its cafe had food that would go to waste due to the sudden Welsh Government lockdown. Instead of putting it in the bin it decided to send them to the Ty Hapus Community Resources Centre in Llandudno, which provides food parcels and additional support and activities for families who are struggling. When the Welsh Government announced late on Saturday afternoon that Wales was to go into almost immediate lockdown, it left the Olive Tree with a surplus of food which had been brought in for the coming few days, the garden centre said in a post on its Facebook page. ....
