Clear all along from the campaign perspective that romney was going to be the guy they were going up against and we saw last week romney now is being named in campaign ads, the social media opportunities, i think, that open up as we get into the general election conversation are going to be quite dramatic for romney because after being bruised so heavily in the primary election, he s going to have to defend all of those videos, all of those statements, facebook and twitter are going to almost, i think, be a stronger player than the mainstream media as it comes to playing off of the primary mistakes. jon: are the mainstream media going to remember hope and change and all the promises from 2008? i mean, do you think the mainstream media might be siding with obama against romney? jon: you tell me. i think it s possible. i think certainly the 2008 experience, plus the 2004, ....
Taxpayers. do you think this is going to advance in you re stepping into this arena now. are you going to find there s other ways to check into social media opportunities for the snirs. right. these days people are getting information in a lot of different ways and the phone app for us is a natural step. we re also very active on youtube, twitter. the fact is, a lot of people get information in different ways. a lot of younger people are finding, you know, that they want to get information. so this is a natural step for us to take about. as you mentioned, youtube and twitter, how do people respond to this? how are the typical american taxpayer responding to finding out the irs is so hip? well, the response to our phone app has been wonderful. just this week, sense we rolled it out, we ve had tens of thousands of downloads and you know, we re not we re not outpacing angry birds or some of the phone apps. angry birds is good. we re making real progress on ....
