This resulted from a study carried out by Prof. Carmel Cefai who heads the Centre for Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health at the University of Malta. The research provided a snapshot of how children in Malta coped with the first wave of the pandemic in 2020. Speaking on Andrew Azzopardi on 103, Cefai said that although the majority of students dealt well with the first wave of the pandemic in 2020, “a substantial number showed different levels of emotional distress.” ....
