The deaths of a total of 17 people in Bulgaria who had tested positive for Covid-19 were registered in the past 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll linked to the disease to 17 513, according to the May 25 report by the national information system. Four out of the 28 districts in Bulgaria are Covid-19 “red zones”, meaning an infection rate of 120 or higher out of 100 000 population, according to a report by the National Centre for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases for the 14-day period ending May 23. As of May 25, there will be 568 polling stations in 67 foreign countries for Bulgaria’s July early parliamentary elections, the Foreign Ministry said.
