A total of 125 people in Bulgaria who had tested positive for Covid-19 died in the past 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll linked to the disease to 14 871, according to the April 15 report by the national information system. Bulgaria’s outgoing government of Prime Minister Boiko Borissov said on April 15 that it disbanded the national Covid-19 response staff, but gave no reason for its decision. Bulgaria’s annual consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.6 per cent in March, compared to 0.1 per cent deflation a month earlier, data released by the National Statistical Institute (NSI) on April 14 showed.
