Poll: Business climate in Bulgaria improves in January

A regular monthly poll has found that the business climate in Bulgaria rebounded in January, rising by 6.9 percentage points compared to December, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on January 28. Thirty-six people in Bulgaria who had tested positive for Covid-19 died in the past 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll to 8916, the national information system daily report on January 27 said. Bulgaria’s Government decided on January 26 to extend the Covid-19 epidemic declaration that has been in place since May 2020, which would have expired on January 31, until the end of April.
