Five-member team presents research to peers, holds quiz-bowl style practice competition
"The Saber-Toothed Salmon," Ketchikan High School's five-member National Ocean Sciences Bowl team, is ready to participate in the virtual Tsunami Bowl later this month. On March 10, which was designated as Kayhi's NOSB Day, the team spent several class periods presenting its research paper and accompanying presentation to peers, while engaging in a quiz-bowl style competition about topics ranging from marine biology to maritime history.
