China fuel exports set to rise at expense of other Asia refiners

SINGAPORE/BEIJING (Dec 29): An increase in fuel export quota for Chinese refiners next year looks set to boost overseas shipments and heap further pressure on margins for oil processors in other parts of Asia. China has granted 29.5 million tons of oil-product export quota in the first batch for 2021, around 5% higher than the initial instalment this year, according to local consultant SCI99.
