Solomon B. Wise, 99, of Saratoga Springs, NY and Naples, FL, died peacefully January 13, 2021. Born in Beverley, MA Feb. 23, 1921, he was the son of the late Joseph Wise and Rose Tarlow Wise. He was a graduate of Beverley High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WW II. After being honorably discharged from the military, Sol moved to Gloversville, NY to start his leather embossing business. That same year (1946) he married a Gloversville girl (Betty Mamber) to whom he was married 67 years. Betty passed away in 2014. They lived a wonderful life together.
