Get Ready for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY in Rochester, New Hampshire
Free comic book day is Saturday, August 14 and Rochester is ready to celebrate. Rochester’s Free Comic Book Day is organized by Jetpack Comics & Games, but many local businesses join the fun and celebration according to city officials. It’s just what we need, a day of fun. Free Comic Book Day is a worldwide event celebrated each year in May but due to pandemic restrictions, this year it has been moved to August 14.
Expect the unexpected. There will be lots of free comic books to take home and enjoy. There will be a Comic Book Scavenger Hunt that will go on from 10 am till 4 pm. Don your favorite comic book character costume for a costume contest at 4:30 pm on at the Garage at the Governor’s Inn. Local businesses that are slated to participate in the day’s festivities is Red Alert Skate Shop, Union Street Antiques, Collectiques, the Rochester Public Library among others. ....
