More than $823,000 announced for area infrastructure projects

The federal and provincial governments are contributing more than $823,000 for area infrastructure projects, including the replacement of the Camp Tillicum community hall and improvements to local snowmobile trails and the Trout Creek Community Centre.
Representatives from both levels of government made the announcement during a virtual media conference Friday morning, alongside local officials and representatives from each of the funding recipients.

Altogether, the federal government is providing $449,281, while the province will put in $374,265.
The funding stems from the community, culture and recreation stream of the joint federal-provincial Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. ....
