Speer Road remains closed during repairs to failing pipes
STOCKBRIDGE â Speer Road will continue to be closed to traffic while repairs are made to the stormwater pipes underneath the roadway. Currently, the decades old metal pipes are being replaced with concrete culverts, including a three-barrel culvert in the center of the road for stormwater control. Earlier it was discovered that the metal pipes were in need of replacement and in danger of failing under the roadway.
