Free COVID-19 testing will be offered twice a week in a parking lot behind Boston s historic Strand Theatre, city officials announced. The Strand, which is located at 543 Columbia Road in Upham’s Corner in Dorchester, is open for testing on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Public parking at the theater will be closed and a testing van will operate behind the building. City officials said there will be no registration and testing is walk-up only. Individuals can be tested for free, regardless of symptoms or insurance.“Our Dorchester zip codes continue to have some of the highest COVID-19 positivity rates in our City,” sBoston’s Chief of Health and Human Services Marty Martinez said. ....
