About 60 teachers and students in Kampong Thom province received training from the Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression Directorate-General (CCF) on food safety on April 21.

A total of 380 Cambodian students from public and private schools who won medals in this year’s World Scholar’s Cup in Cambodia are preparing to participate in the Global Rounds of the competition, this year held in Thailand and Vietnam in September. Students from over 50 nations will be travelling to the events.

Last year a young Cambodian graduate from Sovannaphumi School named Thy Chouly won a full scholarship to pursue her studies at the IPU Tertiary Institute in New Zealand after being chosen as one of just 100 Rise Global 2020 winners.
