New Bedford's 'street parklets,' a boost to restaurants, done for season
NEW BEDFORD — As you battened down the hatches and tried to locate that pesky snow shovel in preparation for this week’s snowstorm, you may have noticed things disappearing in front of some city restaurants. In September, New Bedford’s Department of City Planning announced it would create “street parklets” which convert on-street parking spaces into areas for the public.
