Governor Matawalle suspends Dansadau Emir, dissolves executive council

In a statement by his Special Adviser Public Enlightenment, Media and Communication, Mallam Zailani Bappa, the governor also suspended with immediate effect the District Head of Nasarawa Mailayi, Alhaji Bello Wakkala. He approved the constitution of a high-powered committee of some credible personalities to investigate the activities of the suspended traditional title holders of Dansadau and Nassarawa Mailayi. The Committee members comprise of DIG Mohammed Ibrahim Tsafe (rtd) as Chairman; Hon. Yusuf Alhassan Kanoma, Hon. Ibrahim T Tukur, Sheikh Ahmad Umar Kanoma, Sheikh Abdullahi Umar Dalla Dalla, Sheikh Kabir Umar Maru as members while Barrister Abdurrashid Haruna would serve as Secretary.

Zamfara gov sacks SSG, Chief of Staff, Commissioners, others On Kindly Share This Story: Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara has sacked the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Alhaji Bala Bello and all 23 commissioners with immediate effect. This is contained in a statement signed by the Special Adviser Public Enlightenment, media and Communications, Malam Zailani Bappa. The governor also approved the sack of his Chief of Staff rtd. Col. Bala Mande and the Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr Bashir Maru. The governor also approved the removal of all Chairmen and members of the state Commissions and Boards of various agencies.
