Tiny Paws Sanctuary for Special Needs Animals, a non-profit organization in Church Hill, said they were hacked on Facebook and are spreading the word of their new page so as not to hinder their fundraising efforts.
"While both have their individual challenges, neither sees any disability within the other. They are just two puppies," their owner told Newsweek.
"We provide the animal with all medical care needed to get into its best possible condition," Melissa Lamprey, owner of Pumpkin Patch Pet Rescue, told Newsweek.
"They've been buddies since they had their surgeries and they both rely on each other for comfort," said a spokesperson from the shelter.
"An Angel adopted an Angel. So very special, this story makes my heart sing. Bless you all," one user said.
