Japan are under tsunami warnings and advisory have been issue for new zealand but back here in the united states especially here in california, you re still seeing folks out kyaking getting in their boats despite advisories. this is become a spectator event. out in california we get tsunami warnings but usually by the time they arrive here they are indistinguishable from the rest of the surf. it was a unique opportunity to observe it and be safe. it s not every day you get to wake up and check out a tsunami before you eat breakfast. jeff: from what we are seeing here along the california coast, really no reports of any damage as of yet. some neighbors impacted by those higher than normal waves. we are seeing some boats rocking from the bigger waves coming in but this advisory in effect all the way from here up the coast through alaska and into hawaii. ....
