Authorities are evacuating between Splinter Road and Front Road along U.S. Highway 30 north of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks because of fire and heavy toxic smoke.
Highway 30 is closed in the area, but Interstate 80 is not affected, the Nebraska State Patrol said.
