The University of Texas at Austin campus will be closed on Thursday and all classes canceled as a result of the winter storm.

Shannon Sutton, director of the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) at Western Illinois University, will continue to serve as the interim vice president for finance and administration (VPFA) at Western Illinois University, through June 30, 2022. She was named to the interim post on July 1, 2021. A national search will resume in Spring 2022.

Rothwell will assume her new role on Jan. 3, 2022, filling the position being vacated by Dr. Andrew Weyrich who is departing the U to serve as president of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
