The Buckingham, a senior living community located in Spring Branch, has been able to make more progress in vaccinating its residents and staff this month.
The COVID-19 vaccine has been hard to procure for some with many appointments filling up in minutes. As of Jan. 26, 365,036
Harris County residents have received at least one of their two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
However, the Buckingham was able to get the free vaccine doses through a federal government program for residents and staff of long-term care facilities working with local pharmacies. ....

Ray was born in Colorado County June 18, 1940, the son of Arnold and Anita (Blinka) Minar.
Ray was a student of St. John’s Catholic School in Fayetteville from grade school through graduation with the Class of 1959.
After graduation, he moved to Houston where he started his lengthy career dealing with produce working for Epps Grocery store in Spring Branch.
He later started with Rice Food Markets where he worked as the Produce Manager at various locations over Houston until he retied after 30 years and moved back home to Ellinger.
Ray’s entire life was filled with everything outdoors.
He was an avid fisherman and could maneuver the Brazos River blindfolded after the many years of fishing there. ....

The Buckingham, a senior living community located in Spring Branch, has been able to make more progress in vaccinating its residents and staff this month.
