Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said it is believed two Black men were trying to get into an apartment unit when a confrontation by a suspect erupted into a shooting. Officials said they believe one of the men killed was a resident at the apartment, and the second victim may have been a friend. The men were both described to be in their mid 20s.
