Temporary flood barriers breached in Bewdley | Kidderminster Shuttle
BUILDINGS on Beales Corner, Bewdley, are now flooded after temporary barriers were breached overnight. Rising river levels along the Severn is causing concern as the full impact of the recent heavy rain fall, caused by Storm Christoph, comes to light. The environment agency incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and have asked residents to move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and have a bag ready with vital items, such as medicines and insurance documents.
