Justice Amjad Sayed and Justice SS Shinde of the Bombay HC have been elevated as the Chief Justices of the Himachal Pradesh And Rajasthan respectively.
A bench led by Justice SS Shinde of the Bombay High Court on Thursday heard over 190 cases sitting beyond court hours till 8 pm.
The same bench had sat till 8 pm yesterday to hear over 190 matters in order to complete its board which had about 200 matters.

A man convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by trial court for murdering a woman was acquitted by the Bombay High Court on the ground that the investigation carried out by the police was questionable.
The Bombay High Court directed NIA to take Bhima Koregaon accused Varavara Rao to a private hospital for medical examination.
