Global K-Pop girl group TWICE works with US and Korean hitmakers to end 2020 with a bang with Cry for Me, released December 18.
The latest track was produced by American hitmaker and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder ( Apologize, Leona Lewis Bleeding Love, and Beyonce s Halo ) and Melanie Fontana (The Chainsmokers Setting Fires and BTS and Halsey s Boy With Luv ). The lyrics, which is a mix of English and Korean, were penned by JY Park, known as The AsianSoul, and rapper/ singer-songwriter Heize.
Cry For Me marks the girl group s latest effort in expanding into different themes and genres. With its emotionally driven lyrics over a definitely more mature theme, the song tells the tory of a woman who fights back after keeping hatred bottled up inside and finding the delicate balance between love and hate. ....
