SOUTHPORT — The four people killed in the Tuesday morning traffic crash on County 388 have been identified as a local family. According to Whit Majors, director of operations and chief investigator for the District 14 Medical Examiner's Office, the victims were Linda Barfield, 68, Tracey Barfield, 48, Stacey Barfield, 52, and Christy Barfield, 51. SOUTHPORT — The Bay County intersection where a family of four crashed and died last week is not overly dangerous, but is a concern and part of a road improvement project, officials say.
