Racing fans in the Midwest are witnessing a rising star in Eddie Miller. The 22-year-old mid-westerner is off to a great start this season, and after his 1:57.2 driving victory on Saturday (April 3) with Star Chip at Northfield Park, he now has three wins in five seasonal starts. Last season from a limited amount of trips behind the starting gate, Miller won six times. In the comfortable twilight of Saturday (Dec. 12) Eddie Miller and Star Chip took no prisoners in progress to a 1:57.4 victory over eight others in a leg of the Great Lakes Amateur Drivers Association (GLADA) trotting series at Northfield Park.
