Women develop app they hope will prevent sexual assault
Three female BYU students developed the Sava app to prevent sexual assault and online danger. The app currently offers options to send yourself a fake text or call, call the police, or have the app notify previously designated contacts. The fake calls and texts give users an opportunity to leave an uncomfortable situation.
