　　美聯社報道，被告丹尼爾·哈爾年初已經認罪，當天的庭審主要是討論哈爾泄密的動機、是否危害到國家安全，以及與之相關的量刑標準。
　　據檢控書介紹，哈爾2012年被部署至阿富汗巴格拉姆空軍基地，任務是追蹤手機信號，為美軍無人機空襲武裝分子提供目標定位。2013年2月，哈爾在從空軍退役後、為美國國防部國家地理空間情報局擔任承包商時，將6份涉及無人機項目的保密文件打印交給記者，此後他又陸續泄露了至少11份標有“絕密”、“機密”等級的文件，其內容被媒體部分或全部公開。
　　哈爾在庭審現場稱，自己目睹美軍無人機在阿富汗無差別濫殺平民，作為項目參與者感到“良心不安”，泄密就是為了揭穿關於無人機戰爭的謊言。“殺人是不對的，殺害毫無� ....
