COVID-19 cases across America were on the decline for several weeks, but the trend has now reversed.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is reporting an average of more than 66,000 new daily cases a day over the past week, about a 25% increase from the prior week.
Some states are once again seeing a rise in cases, but Nevada is bucking the trend so far.
“We’re in a really good place, but we don’t want to let our guard down. People have to get vaccinated, people have to be patient with these public health measures for just a couple more weeks,” UNLV School of Medicine Dean Dr. Marc J.
