Nigerian Police Chief Warns Against Duplication Of Investigations, Stops Undue Taking Over Of Cases By Force Headquarters

Nigeria's Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, has warned that henceforth transfer or taking over of cases from Commands/Formations by Force Headquarters-based outfits must only be carried out upon approval of a written petition to him, which will serve as authority for any such action.
