Switzerland's top party wants fewer people — employers need more
A survey by the KOF economic research center shows that 40% of businesses are having difficulties hiring more staff, compared to a long-term average of below 10%. Despite foreigners already making up a quarter of Switzerland's population, a 26% increase in new arrivals last year was not enough to satisfy labor demand.
