Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday handed the astronaut wings to the selected candidates, who will fly to space, as part of the Gaganyaan Mission.
India's four astronaut-designates for the Gaganyaan mission undergo a packed training schedule at ISRO's crew training facility. The training includes sessions on simulators, micro gravity familiarisation, survival, flying practice, and Yoga. Classroom and physical fitness training, as well as practical training on crew training simulators, are part of the program.

The crew's next phase of training is scheduled to take place at Texas with NASA
Training modules also cover academic courses, Gaganyaan flight systems, nicro-gravity familiarisation through parabolic flights, recovery training, mastering of flight procedures and training on crew training simulators, according to ISRO sources.
