The parents of a 9-year-old Florida boy are suing the city of Oviedo and local police after officers handcuffed him during an outburst and threatened to send him to jail - in a moment caught on video.
According to KSLA 12 News the family of a 9-year-old boy has initiated legal action against the City of Oviedo, Florida, and the police officers involved after their child was handcuffed at Stenstrom Elementary School.
“Nine-year-old children with special needs should not be handcuffed by police officers at school,” the family’s attorney said.
