WXXV News 25 July 27, 2021 Given the new evidence on the delta variant, today the CDC is recommending universal indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to K-12 schools. One local concerned parent of three small children, Stephanie Ulrich, has been advocating for a change in mask policy for Biloxi Public Schools. Her two youngest contracted COVID-19 and won their battles, although not without severe complications. Currently, Biloxi Public Schools has released their 2021-2022 Plan for Success stating: In accordance with the CDC and MSDH guidance, the Biloxi Public School District recommends that unvaccinated staff and students wear masks while inside of school buildings.
