ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)  Senior citizens were among the first group eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as part of group 1A in mid-December. We re now in week 10 of the vaccine rollout process, and many seniors still have not been able to secure a vaccine appointment.
For some seniors, that s 10 weeks of sitting on the state phone line, 10 weeks of unanswered questions, and 10 weeks of feeling cast aside. 
Lifespan is an advocacy group known for being a voice for seniors in times of need. The group put out a tweet Thursday saying Beyond Frustrated. 1,000 older adults on our #vaccine list & we are unable to get them appts despite weeks of advocacy. Who died from #COVID? Older adults. ....
