In 2020, Miami’s City Theatre was planning a splashy 25th-anniversary edition of its Summer Shorts festival. But it was canceled due to COVID-19. Now, 27 years after the theater's creation, the postponed 25th festival is finally here, running through July 2, 2022, at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

A passenger on that flight said that makes the incident even worse because Duncan had the ability to open the aircraft's door. "When the guy was in front and tried to open the plane door that was truly the scariest moment of my life, because if he was able to open the door, we would have crashed into the ground," said passenger Brannon Nazarian.
