Migration in a time of war: A tiny bird's mighty trek...
In the next few weeks, Curlew Sandpipers, and many other birds will migrate through the battle zones of the eastern half of Ukraine. It will be migration in a time of war. We simply have no idea of whether the habitats they will use have been affected by military activity.
