The search led to drug charges against the suspect, but the Grand County Attorney dismissed those charges, telling a judge that bodycam footage didn't match what Risenhoover wrote in affidavits. Moab City Police Officer Steve Risenhoover was placed on administrative duty last week while an investigation into his conduct during a December 2020 incident is ongoing. Salt Lake Cityâs Fox 13 released body camera footage of Risenhooverâs response to a Dec. 21, 2020 call regarding suspected domestic violence at a Moab home. Monday April 5, 2021 A Moab police officer is once again under scrutiny, this time for allegedly searching a subject illegally. According to Moab City, Officer Steve Risenhoover will be placed on administrative duties while an outside agency investigates his actions during a December search and seizure.
