According to court documents, on Tuesday, Kelvin D. Carswell, aka âK-9,â âNine,â âKinineso Harlem Carswell,â â9ne Oharlem,â âKninepunkin KinGcarswell,â 41, of Macon, was sentenced to serve 240 months in federal prison to be followed by three years of supervised release after he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine on Dec, 15, 2020. U.S. District Judge Tilman “Tripp” Self sentenced 39-year-old Gary Buck, of Ellaville, to eight and a half years in federal prison. Buck pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a stolen firearm. On May 1, 2019, a Perry Police Department officer stopped Buck for a traffic violation on Interstate 75. The officer reported smelling marijuana from Buck’s car, and called for backup to search the car. MACON â Two women arrested in possession of more than 23 kilos of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 have pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and are both facing a maximum 20 years in prison for their crimes, Peter D. Leary, the acting U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, said in a news release. Tiffany S. Crawford, aka âPie,â 42, of Canton, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on Dec. 16, before U.S. District Judge Tilman E. âTrippâ Self III. Co-defendant, Ariana C. Matthews, 23, from Troy, Mich., pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on Dec. 15, also before Judge Self. Both defendants face a maximum 20 years imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and a maximum fine of $1 million. Sentencing is scheduled for March 2. ....
