PORTLAND — A physical altercation on Fay Street led to a number of charges against a town resident. Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported that upon their arrival at about 8:56 p.m. Sunday, they learned that Steven A. Scott, 54, of Fay Street allegedly damaged multiple items and pushed another individual to the ground. This incident occurred with a child under 17 years old in the residence.
