Osage man killed in semi vs truck crash in Mitchell County
Photo: MGNonline. Created: January 29, 2021 06:15 PM (ABC 6 News) - A Osage man was killed after a semi and truck collided Friday afternoon. The crash happened around 1:30 pm at the intersection of Highway 218 and 320th Street in Mitchell County. According to the Iowa State Patrol, Steven H. Kapping, 66 of Osage, was driving westbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by the southbound semi. The State Patrol says Kapping was not wearing a seat belt and died as a result of the crash. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
