Boat trips begin again as canal centre reopens
A charity that teaches people about the history of canals is now offering boat trips again. Rickmansworth Waterways Trust has reopened Batchworth Lock following months of Covid-19 restrictions and is now able to offer trips on the trust’s Pride of Batchworth canal boat. The recently completed education centre, located between the canal and the River Colne, is also now open for business. Currently, The Pride is able to take up to six passengers from the same social bubble for a 40-minute trip which will take them as far as Stockers Lock and back.
