they were traveling at about 12,000 feet, and usually using visual flight rules rather than radar or sensitive instruments. so i think given the news that the dutch haven't found anything, aviation officials all over europe will be privy to that information and they'll make their own decision in the future not, i think, based just on the dutch word for what they found on the test. they'll probably take into consideration the german results as well. but i'm not so sure that they'll be convinced that it is safe to fly because there are scientific planes still going up every day, turbop...
