Weekly food distributions in Norwich and New London by the Connecticut Food Bank/Foodshare have been extended through May.
The New London walk-up distribution at St. Mary s Star of the Sea Church, 10 Huntington St., will run Fridays from 2:30 to 4 p.m. through May.
The Norwich drive-thru distribution at the former Foxwoods employee parking lot, 28 Stonington Road-Route 2, will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays through May 24. No distribution will be held on Memorial Day, May 31.
Additional food distribution events will be held at the Rose City Senior Center, 8 Mahan Drive, Norwich, on the fourth Wednesdays of April, May and June in memory of the late Norwich Community Development Corp. President Jason Vincent. ....
