Heat index values will peak at or above 105 for most of North Alabama Wednesday. Along with the dangerous heat and humidity, expect another round of hit or miss thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.
We'll have daily opportunity to see some stray showers in South Texas; however they will be very spotty and many of us will stay dry. The heat and sunshine will rule the forecast with daily highs in the mid 90s with triple digit heat indices.
